What to expect…
Our half-day retreat has been designed to help you reconnect with yourself and establish a grounding foundation for the autumn season.
We’ll begin with a delicious cacao ceremony, a ritualistic practice designed to open the heart, enhance meditation, and set clear intentions. This ceremony not only fosters emotional connection and spiritual insight, but also gently energises the body, setting the stage for a more profound and deeply connected yoga practice.
You’ll then be guided through a transition of slow vinyasa into soothing hatha yoga, focusing on blending deep intentional breathing with mindful movement.
Next, you’ll enjoy light refreshments and time to reflect, before being guided through a journaling practice and seasonal ritual to garner a sense of personal power.
Freshly renewed, you’ll surrender into an intensely relaxing ‘yogic sleep’, carrying you into a state of deep peace, calm, and tension release.
The day will conclude with a closing circle and the opportunity to share reflections, leaving you feeling balanced, rejuvenated, and aligned with the season’s energy.

I know that I can't run my business successfully without looking after myself better so I booked on Gemma's intention setting retreat. In the run up to the retreat Gemma made sure I knew what to expect, what to wear, what time to turn up and allayed my fears of not being very good at yoga.
The retreat itself was perfect. It was a small number of people so Gemma could give us all enough attention as we needed and the level of intensity for the yoga was pitched perfectly. I didn't feel awkward or not good enough when Gemma helped me with a few poses - in fact I felt empowered.
The journalling session was really useful to help me structure some positive goals and put in plans to make those goals happen.

With 20 years of yoga practice under her (yoga!) belt, Gemma Allies is a 200 hour YTT Yoga Instructor, having trained with the prestigious Himalaya Yoga Valley Goa.
Over her career, she has amassed a wealth of experience in both planning prestigious events and delivering first-class service, through leveraging the power of personal touch and creating moments of magic.
An experienced Massage Therapist, Gemma is a strong advocate for the power of approaching wellness from a holistic standpoint, combining physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual practices to cultivate the ultimate formula for success.
Blending her mindfulness expertise, with a wealth of experience delivering five-star customer service, Gemma has crafted a unique retreat experience that promises to transform the physical and mental well-being of attendees.
